Terms of Service
About these terms
These terms apply when you book a repair, walk in, mail in a device, buy a plan or sell a device to Charlotte Tech Repair, 1001 E W.T. Harris Blvd, Ste U, Charlotte, NC 28213.
Prices and quotes
Prices shown on this site come from our shop price sheet for your model and include parts and labor. Diagnostics are free. If we find something different when we open the device, we tell you the price before doing any more work. If we can’t fix it, you don’t pay for the repair.
Warranty
Every repair has a 90-day warranty on our parts and workmanship. It does not cover new physical or liquid damage after the repair, or damage from someone else opening the device. See the warranty page for Covered Screen and plan terms.
Your data
Repairs can put data at risk, especially on devices with liquid or board damage. Please back up before you bring or send a device in. We are not responsible for data loss, but we will always tell you about the risk before we start.
Collecting your device
Please collect your device within 30 days of us telling you it is ready. Devices not collected within 30 days are considered abandoned and may be recycled or sold to cover costs, as permitted by North Carolina law.
Mail-in repairs
You ship your device to us. Pack it carefully, and wait for our confirmation before you ship. We repair it only after you approve the price, and we return it insured to the address you give us. If you decline the repair, we ship it back.
Selling a device to us
You must own the device and be 18 or older, and we will ask for a photo ID. Financed devices are accepted. Offers by text are based on what you tell us and are confirmed when we inspect the device. We wipe the device in front of you. We do not buy TVs or monitors.
Covered plans
Covered Plus and Covered Everything are monthly plans with their own terms, deductibles and claim limits, shown on the Covered and warranty pages. You can cancel anytime.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any repair is limited to fixing the problem again or refunding what you paid for that repair.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Last updated October 2026.
