Drone Repair

Drone Repair in Charlotte — DJI, Autel, FPV & More

A crash doesn't have to mean a new drone. We repair drones at component level right here in Charlotte: bent arms and shattered shells, gimbals that won't stabilize, boards drowned in a lake landing, ESCs, motors, and flight controllers. Free diagnostics with a firm quote before we touch anything — no surprise charges, and if we can't fix it, you don't pay. And if the drone is gone but the footage matters, we recover that too.

Crash footage recovery

Drone in a lake but the footage matters? We recover video from crash-damaged and water-damaged drones from $99.

1001 E W.T. Harris Blvd Ste U, Charlotte, NC 28213. Walk-ins welcome Mon–Sat 10 AM–7 PM.

The repair nobody else offers

Lost the Drone. Don't Lose the Footage.

The wedding you just shot. The listing walkthrough due tomorrow. The one shot you'll never get again. When a drone goes into a lake, a tree, or a field at speed, the aircraft is often the least valuable thing on it. We recover footage from crash-damaged and water-damaged drones — SD cards, internal storage, and corrupted files — using the same in-house data recovery bench that handles dead phones and drives. Free diagnostic first: we'll tell you honestly what's recoverable before you spend a dollar. Don't power it up, don't reformat the card, and don't let anyone else attempt it first — failed attempts are the main cause of unrecoverable footage.

Drone data recovery from $99.

We Quote First. We Don't Guess.

Drone repair takes longer than a phone screen, and any shop promising same-day on a crash is guessing. Here's our process: a free diagnostic identifies exactly what failed — arm, motor, ESC, gimbal ribbon, flight controller, or corroded board. You get a firm price before any work starts. Then we repair, recalibrate the IMU and compass, and test-fly the drone before you pick it up, because a drone that powers on isn't the same as a drone that flies straight. Most repairs: 3–7 business days. Crash and water damage: 5–10, because corrosion work can't be rushed. If we can't fix it, you don't pay — and you'll know that at the quote, not after.

“Great friendly service. I took my drone in for repair and is working perfectly & flies again as normal.”

Mail-In Drone Repair From Anywhere in the Carolinas

Board-level drone repair is rare — most pilots don't have a shop within an hour. So we take mail-in drones. Ship it to us, we diagnose it free, and we quote you before any work begins. Return shipping is on us, insured for the declared value of your drone, and every mail-in repair carries the same 90-day workmanship warranty and the same no-fix-no-fee promise as a walk-in.

Leave the battery at home.Do not ship it. Damaged and swollen lithium batteries are prohibited from all shipping — ground included — and a crashed drone's battery may be damaged even if it looks fine. We test with our own batteries.

  1. 1

    Call or email first

Describe what happened. We'll tell you honestly whether mail-in makes sense for your drone. Call (704) 469-4167 or use the contact form.

  2. 2

    Leave the battery at home

Damaged and swollen LiPo batteries are prohibited from all shipping, ground included. We test with our own batteries. If we need yours for a specific test, we'll ask.

  3. 3

Pack it well and ship by ground service

Inbound shipping is the customer's responsibility. Ship to: 1001 E W.T. Harris Blvd Suite U, Charlotte NC 28213.

  4. 4

    Free diagnostic on arrival

We identify exactly what failed and send you a full report.

    Firm quote before any work

Nothing happens until you approve it. If it can't be fixed, you don't pay — and we ship it back.

  6. 6

    Repair, recalibrate, test-fly

Same bench, same process as a walk-in. Every drone test-flown before it leaves.

  7. 7

    Shipped back free, insured

Return shipping on us, insured for your drone's declared value, with a 90-day workmanship warranty.

Honest note:Mail-in adds shipping time on both ends. If there's a shop near you that can do the repair, use them. We're for the repairs nobody near you can do.

Who We Fly For

Charlotte's drone community keeps our bench busy: real estate and listing photographers, wedding and event videographers, Lake Norman hobbyists who've discovered how quickly water finds a drone, FPV racers, roof and property inspectors, and construction site surveyors. If your drone earns its keep, we know downtime costs you — that's why the diagnostic is free and the quote comes before the work.

How It Works

  1. 1

Walk in or call — free diagnostic

We inspect your drone at no charge and tell you exactly what failed before any work starts. No appointment needed. Mail-in: call or email first so we know it's coming.

  2. 2

    Plain-English explanation + firm quote

We tell you what broke and why, give you the price, and only start when you say go. If we can't fix it, you don't pay.

  3. 3

    Component-level repair, in-house

We repair the failed part — arm, motor, ESC, gimbal ribbon, flight controller, corroded board — using the same micro-soldering bench we use for phones and MacBooks.

  4. 4

    Recalibrate and test-fly

Every repaired drone gets IMU and compass recalibration before we call you. A drone that powers on isn't the same as a drone that flies straight.

  5. 5

    90-day workmanship warranty

If anything we repaired fails within 90 days due to our work, we fix it free. No runaround.
