NoDa and Plaza Midwood run on laptops, drones and consoles. We fix that gear in our own shop in University City, about 12 minutes up North Tryon or a Blue Line ride away. Board work stays on our bench, and your exact price shows online before you book.

If you shoot, edit or stream for a living, a broken MacBook or a grounded drone isn't an inconvenience. It's a missed job. We built this shop around the hard repairs: board-level micro-soldering in-house, data recovery in-house, and no shipping your machine off to a depot.

Mini, Air, Mavic and Phantom models with broken arms, dead gimbals, signal problems or board faults.
Liquid, power and charging IC faults repaired at the component level, not with a swapped board.
Dead SSDs, external drives and memory cards. We recover data in-house, including from water- and fire-damaged gear.
Torn traces and all. We rebuild the connection with jumper wires when the pads have lifted.

North on N. Tryon St, then onto W.T. Harris Blvd
Head north on N. Tryon Street for about 12 minutes and turn onto W.T. Harris Blvd. Pull into Town Center Plaza at 1001 E W.T. Harris Blvd and park free outside our door, Suite U. By train, take the Blue Line from 36th Street or 9th Street Station to UNC Charlotte Main, then a short Uber west.

Is my crashed drone worth fixing?
Usually it is. Arms, gimbals, motors and board faults are all repairable, and the diagnostic is free, so you decide once you know the cost.
Can I get to you without a car?
Yes. Ride the Blue Line north to UNC Charlotte Main and take a short Uber to the shop. Book online first so you know the price before you leave.
Will a MacBook repair erase my projects?
No. We repair the board and leave your drive alone. If the drive itself failed, recovery happens in the same shop.
Which Covered plan fits a laptop plus a phone?
Covered Everything. It's $19.99 a month for one phone and up to 25 more devices at home, with $50 phone claims and $99 claims on everything else.
Do you buy used drones?
Yes. Describe the model and condition online and we text an offer. Take cash the same day or credit toward a repair.
Can you mod an iPod Classic?
Yes. We fit flash storage, bigger batteries and new shells, and we can install Rockbox. Bring it by or mail it from anywhere in the US.
Do you fix Windows gaming PCs too?
Yes. We repair gaming PCs and build custom ones in the shop. Bring yours in for a free diagnostic.
How long do repairs take?
Most are finished the same day. Phone screens are often under 30 minutes, and we'll give you a time estimate for drone and board work when you drop off.
