An Xbox HDMI port, rebuilt one wire at a time
This console got knocked onto the floor with the HDMI cable still plugged in. That's the whole story. No water, no surge, nothing exotic — a cable in a port and a fall.
The port didn't just bend. It levered against the board on the way down and tore the copper pads clean off it. Those pads are what a replacement port solders onto, and once they're gone most shops stop right here: no pads, no repair, buy a new console.
There's another way, and it's slow. Every pin on the port gets its own wire, run by hand under a microscope to a surviving connection point elsewhere on the board. The Series X pushes 4K over HDMI 2.1 — these are high-speed signal lines and they don't forgive sloppy work. That's the third photo. That console had no pads left under the port, and it works.

With the pads gone, every pin on the port was individually jumpered by hand to a surviving connection point on the board.
Back together, with no pads left under the port and every pin on a wire of its own. It works.

“You need a new Xbox” usually isn't true
When a console fails, one component on the board has usually failed — a port, an encoder chip, something on the power section. The other several hundred are fine.
Most places don't test to that level, because it needs a microscope, schematics, and someone who can use both. So the answer comes back as a whole-unit replacement, and a console that needed one repair goes in a bin.
We diagnose to the failed part and fix that part. It costs less, it keeps your console, and it keeps whatever's on the drive.

Nothing at all
No light, no fan, no sound. Usually the power supply or a fault on the board's power section — both repairable, and both need testing to tell apart.
Powers on, no picture
The console runs but the TV says no signal. Almost always the HDMI port or the encoder chip behind it. This is the repair we’re known for.
Stuck on the Xbox logo
It boots, shows the logo, and stops. Could be the system software, a failing drive, or the board itself. The fix depends entirely on which — so we test before we quote.
Only boots to the troubleshooter
The green Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, every time, and nothing you pick works. Usually corrupted system software or a drive that’s failing underneath it.
Won’t read discs
Grinding, spitting discs out, or reading nothing. Drive or laser — repairable either way.
Loud as a jet
Almost always dust. A deep clean and fresh thermal paste turns most of them quiet again.
What we repair
No power / won't turn on
Power supply replacement, and board-level repair of the power circuits on the mainboard. We test to find out which one it actually is.
HDMI port repair
Bent, crushed, or torn-out ports replaced at board level. Torn pads rebuilt with jumpers when it comes to that.
HDMI signal repair
No signal even when the port itself looks fine. The encoder chip behind it is replaceable at chip level under a microscope.
Stuck on the Xbox logo
Boot hangs diagnosed properly: system software, storage, and board all tested before anything is quoted.
Troubleshooter loop
Recovery-screen loops traced to their actual cause rather than reflashed and hoped over.
Ethernet port repair
Bent pins and dead wired connections; board-level port replacement.
Damaged connectors
Fan, USB, power and internal connectors torn or crushed, including ones damaged during a home repair.
Hard drive — Xbox One only

We replace power supplies. We don't repair them.
An Xbox power supply runs from mains voltage, and it holds a charge after it's unplugged. Repairing one at component level isn't beyond us — it's just genuinely dangerous, and there's no version of that job where the risk is worth it to you or to us.
So we test it. If the supply is the fault, we replace the supply. If the fault is on the mainboard's power circuits instead, that we'll happily repair at component level, because that's work we can do safely.
That's the whole policy. We'd rather tell you where our line is than pretend we don't have one.
Xbox One and Series X aren't the same machine
On an Xbox One, a hard drive is a hard drive. When it fails — slow loads, freezing, booting to the troubleshooter and staying there — we replace it and set it up properly. Straightforward.
Series X and Series S don't work that way. Their SSD is paired to the console. It isn't a part anyone swaps in an afternoon, and a shop offering you a quick Series SSD replacement should be able to explain exactly what they mean by that.
So here's our honest position. We'll diagnose yours for free and tell you what's actually wrong with it. If it turns out to be the SSD on a Series console, we'll usually tell you straight that replacing the console makes more sense than chasing the repair — and we'd rather say that at the counter than after you've paid us to find out.
We usually have Xboxes in the shop if that's the road you end up on. But that's your call, not ours, and you're under no obligation to buy one from us.

Controllers too
Stick drift, triggers that stopped triggering, bumpers that don't click, a charge port that only works if you hold the cable at an angle, a cracked shell. Controllers are repairable, and it's almost always cheaper than replacing one.
Price depends on what's actually wrong with it — a drifting stick and a dead charge port aren't the same job — so bring it in and the diagnostic is free. You'll get a firm number before anyone opens anything.
