An independent repair shop in University City, fixing phones, computers and consoles in Charlotte since 2013.
We started in 2013 as We Save Data and now repair phones, iPads, MacBooks, Windows laptops, game consoles, drones and iPods at 1001 E W.T. Harris Blvd. Most repairs are done the same day on our own bench.
Every repair starts with a free diagnostic. We do board-level micro-soldering in-house, so phones, MacBooks and consoles that other shops would replace can often be repaired. We remove cracked iPhone back glass with a laser instead of heat or prying.
Every repair has a 90-day warranty, and every eligible screen we replace comes with Covered Screen. If we can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
Seventeen years at the bench. If your MacBook went swimming, your phone won’t turn on, or your photos are stuck on something that looks beyond saving, Michael is who we hand it to. One customer called him “a total hero” in a Google review. He hasn’t argued.
Our drone technician and motherboard expert. He spends his days with things that fell out of the sky and motherboards that need a steady hand. He has brought back more iPods and iPads than we can count. We tried counting once. We lost count.
Seven years in, and expert with all things computers. He’ll help you plan and build your dream PC, fix the one nobody else could, and bring your old console back to life. In his spare time he flies drones, which works out, because Oscar fixes them.
Bring Tony your PS5, Xbox or Nintendo, however far gone it is, and he’ll bring it back to life. He is also, officially, the life of the party. The crown is less official, but customers keep naming him in their reviews, so it’s getting there.
I had rain damage to my phone and took it to Charlotte Tech Repair. They fixed it incredibly fast, and the price was very reasonable. The whole process was quick, easy, and professional. I highly recommend them if you need a phone repair! Michael helped me out and was awesome!Brooke Ibarra · Repair · Google review
I have been brining my family’s devices here for years now and it is always a pleasure. Mike & Gus are very knowledgeable and are able to communicate device issues honestly and in layman terms. Pricing is always fair and reasonable as well. Could not recommend them more to anyone in search of tech repair.Nathan Chadbourne · Repair · Google review
Michael is a total hero! Seriously, everyone on this team is amazing. They work absolute miracles every single day on our most complicated devices, from phones to computers. Best of all, they handle everything with incredible kindness and precision. They are exactly who you want in your corner when tech disasters strike out of nowhere. I also ended up replacing my laptop with one in their store. They gave me a great price too!Lynn N. · Repair · Yelp review
