How We Repair

Our repair process

  1. 1

    Diagnostic and inspection

We open the handheld, test power regulation, inspect the capacitors and audio circuit for degradation, assess screen condition, and identify all faults before quoting any work.

  2. 2

    Power and audio repair

We replace dead or swollen rechargeable batteries (GBA SP, GBC), clean or replace corroded battery contacts from AA leakage, and recap the audio circuit to eliminate buzzing and restore clean sound.

  3. 3

    IPS display upgrade (optional)

We install high-quality IPS LCD upgrades for the DMG-01, Game Boy Pocket, GBC, GBA, and GBA SP. These backlit displays transform the visual experience and are available in multiple colour and brightness options.

  4. 4

    Shell and button restoration

We replace sticky button membranes, fit new shells or clean existing housing, and address any physical damage to hinges or port covers.
